Congratulations on making this game !

I've played your game during a live that you can watch here :

The live is timestamped so you can go directly to your game.

I hope the feedback and live reactions will be useful. Keep it up !

Cute! Bouncing feels great. I’m not quite sure how the head-leg collision works, but I like it ༼ つ ✿◕‿◕✿༽つ

Thanks a lot Michał. I appreciate the kind words.

The head/leg collision is line-line, using multiple lines for the skull, similar to line-rect collision detection http://jeffreythompson.org/collision-detection/line-rect.php

The bounce is... uh... more complicated and involved a heck of a lot of testing and tweaking before it felt comfortable. Hit me up anytime you want to hear more about the gory details :D

No worries, well deserved.

Thanks for sharing, I’ll definitely make use of it soonish! (づ ᴗ _ᴗ)づ♡ And re bouncing, I might have some questions soon, I’ll bother you on Discord if so ; p

Cheers!

A dead simple (haha) but very entertaining concept!!! It sometimes plays like an Arkanoïd clone. I like that I thought I could abuse the game by getting close to the walls but eventually, the skull always escapes. I got to 113.

Thanks Jujule. 113 is a very respectable score. I wonder if anyone will make it to 9999?

Is that a challenge?

How hard can it be?
