Loyalty
Novice, you must prove to us your loyalty. Descend into the ruins beneath the monastery and recover the treasured relics hidden within.
Loyalty is a turn-based dungeon crawler where you build the dungeon as you explore by playing a game of dominoes. Each domino you play expands the ruins, creating passageways, chambers, monsters, treasures and traps.
Battle vicious foes, uncover relics of a forgotten past, chart the ruins of an ancient civilisation. Return with what you find, and prove your loyalty.
Controls
Use your mouse to deal, pick-up and place dominoes.
P: Pause/resume, view controls, change settings
SPACE: Rotate domino
Escape: Cancel domino selection
Backspace: Undo last action
D: Deal a new hand (hand must be empty)

very atmospheric puzzle game. Interesting idea of using the domino rules. Some of these are a bit obscure though, but I may not remember all the OG game rules… Music is very well chosen. Are there sounds? I think some basic woody/clicky sounds and card flush effects could add a lot to the game feel. Keep at it!
Pretty interesting concept, I can definitely imagine this getting quite deep (figuratively and literally)!
Thanks!
Surprising strategy – requires some memory and lots of advance planning. Watch out for dangerous tropical birds!
Thanks Lucas. Maybe in a future release, your character will be able to learn the meanings of the pips?
Very reminiscent of text based RPGs or TTRPGs. It took me a bit to understand the excavation of it all, but once I got it, I said "OH" out loud. Super cool.
Thank you so much for the useful feedback and I'm very glad you enjoyed the game
